On Thursday, September 8th, treasure&bond and NYC-based fashion label Nicholas K will join forces to celebrate city wide shopping event, Fashion’s Night Out. treasure&bond, Nordstrom’s new concept store which opened its 11,000-square-foot retail space in the Soho neighborhood at 350 West Broadway, will donate 100% of all profits going to NYC charities aiding children. – For August through October, treasure&bond will donate to NYC Young Men’s Initiative and the NYPL Programs for Children and Young Adults.
As part of treasure&bond’s grand opening celebration, designers and brother-sister team, Nicholas and Christopher Kunz, will be giving a personal appearance and hosting a Fall 2011 Trunk Show during Fashion’s Night Out at treasure&bond from 6-8 PM. Nicholas K will be gifting out their luxurious wool Jive Scarf ($184 retail value) from their Fall 2011 Collection with a purchase of $500 or greater for the first 20 event shoppers. Also, hosting a trunk show, will be jewelry designer, Bijules, who will be pre-selling their Spring/Summer 2012 Jetsetter ring collection plus favorites. Following the trunk show will be a special live acoustic performance by the experimental indie-rock band, School of Seven Bells, and DJ Kieren Taylor, resident DJ for Paul Sevigny and Nur Khan’s nightlife ventures, will be spinning tunes throughout the evening.
From 6-11 PM, all liquor and beer will be sponsored by Avion Tequila and Kopperberg Cider and coconut water will be supplied by Vitacoco. Food will available by New York’s famous food mobiles, Taim Falafel, Kimchi Taco and Wafels & Dinges. Other charitable sponsor mentions go out to Tic Tac, who will be handing out their flavorful Pink Grapefruit Tic Tacs in support of cancer awareness. Mixing fashion and charity all into one social gathering is a great way to look good and feel great.
