Today we are sitting down for an exclusive interview to NYC-Fashion with model Ricardo Rosa.

Ricardo Rosa originally from Portugal, working as a model in Europe, walking the runway, shooting fashion editorials, working with fashion designers and wants to travel the world.

Ricardo Rosa is on the go, with a bunch of new projects that he working on these days and soon to be reveled.

Now lets move to the interview and get personal with Ricardo Rosa:

Q: How did you become a model, and what was your first break?

A: I started working as a model for a fashion brand “Carvan” in 2009, shooting there catalogue, and that same year I had the opportunity to walk the runway in Lisbon Fashion Week for estlilista Nuno Gama.

Q: How do you keep fit, what is your training routine and menu?

A: I am mixing it up between lifting in the gym and fighting in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu @ Gracie Barra Academy inSeixal

training six times a week and try eating a healthy ..

Q: How do you define your style and what your favorite store to shop?

A: I am a relaxed style guy , vintage pair of jeans, boots, t-shirt. Button shirt and a hat as an accessory …..
I buy what I feel looks good on me not just going to specific stores, but of course I have national and international designers that I love.

Q: What are your main interests & hobbies?

A: I love spending time with my friends, going to movies, reading good book, enjoy the beach, fashion,. Bodybord, going to the gym, & jiu jitsu …

Q: What is the one fashion item that you can’t live without?

A: Boots and hats are the items … I need to have it all the time to complete my outfit .

Q: Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?

A: My favorite models include French model Pierre Barreda & Spanish model Jon Kortajarena . as far as designers I love Portuguese designer Nuno Gama , Miguel Vieira,Dino Alves and international fashion designers like Armani, D & G, guess, DSQUADRED2,black Diesel, Hermes, Roberto Cavali ….

Q: Which fashion magazines do you like to read?

A: I like GQ magazine, menshealth, n `style …

Q: Out of all of the photos the photographer took of you, which is your favorite and why?

A: I love them all, everyone brings something different and that’s what makes it exciting.

Q: What is fun and rewarding about modeling?

A: That embody the fun and other characters in a unique settings … that’s what makes it beautiful …

Q: What do you dislike about modeling?

A: The only thing I do not like is that people repeat with the same models and it makes it hard to the unfamiliar faces get the big exposure.

Q: What advice do you have for other aspiring models?

A: if they like the fashion world than fight and dedicate themselves to this world and run to follow there dreams.

Q: Who are some of your favorite fashion photographers?

A: I like the work of a Portuguese photographer, Mario Principe

Q: What does fashion mean to you?

A: Besides being an art . I like everything that happens in the fashion world and the level of the professional work and that what make it so fantastic .

Q: What distinguishes a good model from a bad one?

A: I think people needs to understand the level of dedication of becoming a model, they need to take care of physical & the body level and also the level of the skin … good model has to take care of there appearance, cus this is part of the job …….

Q: How has modeling changed other aspects of your life?

A: It’s Not really Changed anything ….. I try to reconcile with other aspects in my life

Q: what’s inspire you in life as a person?

A: what inspires me is joy and happiness that life gives us …

Q: what’s the dream project you fantasize to do?

A: I would love to do an international advertising campaign for Emporio Armani, D & G and Guess

Q: where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I see a good future, & it’s all good by me ……
