The A Détacher S/S 2011 fashion show at the New York Fashion week took place at the Altman building. Presenting the collection is the designer Mona Kowalska’s with beautiful prints and quietly innovative silhouettes inspired by “neuroses in Vienna.”

We know Mona Kowalska from her Nolita store (A Détacher) which she opened back in 1998. Before she opened the store Kowalska used to head the design studio at Sonia Rykiel.

The A Détacher spring/summer fashion collection at New York fashion week presents stylish and accessible clothes—loose jumpsuits of poplin and silk, electric intarsia knits, curve-skimming pencil skirts. Prints, as usual, were key motive: The digitally printed on silk, a black fabric irregularly splotched with cream, and nude materials zapped by silver spears. To die for was the lace ribbon tops and dresses.

We also loved the pastel printed leggings but Tal feel in love with the black knit that exposed just enough skin and was paired with nude colored pieces – sexy yet feminine with chic and good taste. Also you could see on the runway: ivory knit jumpsuits rompers, boxy dresses, Longer-form jumpsuits, and floral prints, Green pencil skirts with navy blouses. We specially loved the dresses with asymmetrical one puff sleeve. Great collection we can’t wait to try it on.

The A Détacher fashion show Avant Garde music selection was the perfect combination with the clothes vibe.  Great collection, we can’t wait to try it on at the store –
